Welcome to Third Grade and Room 201!
We are in for an exciting learning adventure. There are so many things to explore this year. Multiplication and division, simple machines, the solar system, history from the early 1600's, map skills, animal habitats and endangered species are just a few of the topics and skills we'll be investigating.
I hope you are looking forward to each and every day, working and learning hard in every way!
It will be so much fun, too! You will need to pay attention, think about your learning, and most importantly...ask lots of questions! That's how to do your best!
Parents, third grade is a major milestone in your child’s education. This year will be quite different from the previous years your child has completed in elementary school. Third grade teachers will be focusing on student responsibility and organization throughout the year. Students will also be expected to organize a student planner for daily work and assignments.
